My family lives in Sydney
Australia, and we have been researching our family tree over the past years
as a hobby. Personally, I have been a member of the "Society of Australian
Genealogists" for many years now, and have every intention for remaining
so in the future.
I am currently using the
"Legacy" genealogy program to collate my family tree. It is GEDCOM
compliant and also can import other family trees with a minimum of difficulty.
We have now reached a stage
where we would like to contact other family members with the same interests
in family history. My vision is to have one large family tree and also include
interesting stories/anecdotes about family members etc. My family have all
enjoyed listening to reading about the lives of past family.
In the near future I will
be granting access to this family tree information via this website. It will
be <Username> and <Password> protected and only available to those
whom have proven their authenticity as a genuine family member.
