The purpose of this website
is to provide SPOELMA family members with a resource to discover their family
history and to link relatives throughout the world. My genealogy research
has traced direct family members from the Netherlands to countries such as
Australia, South Africa and America (particularly Michigan).
The cost of researching ones
past can be quiet prohibitive, so it is our wish to hear from other family
members with whom we can mutually exchange information without monetary gain.
The information gathered would be consolidated and made available to any person
whom has genuinely proven their authenticity as a family member. I stress
again, the desire is that this information be passed on for no monetary gain.
Although it is only early
days yet, it is hoped that by passing on your SPOELMA family tree, it could
be possible to link all the Spoelma's throughout the world. Our family name
is very unique, and my research leads me to believe it could be possible.
